On July 12, 2006, Hizbullah militia penetrated into Israel, they killed six soldiers and kidnapped two. Israel in return retaliated against Hizbullah by attacking Lebanese infrastructure. Hizbullah used rockets to attack Israel. In the process, civilians on both sides were killed. Hizbullah demands that Israel release Lebanese prisoners in exchange for the two kidnapped soldiers, and the evacuation from Lebanese Farms called “Shebaa Farms” occupied by Israel during the Six-Day War in 1967.
Demonstrators gathered in Copley Square on Wednesday evening to demand Israel immediately stop it's attacks on Lebanon. This was the third organized rally held at Copley in the past few weeks. 
August 5: About 300 people marched though Westwood ( a section of Los Angeles) today to show support for the people of Lebanon and Palestine. They called for an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of all Israeli forces from Lebanon and occupied Palestine. Photos from the LA IMC wire.

Protestors took part in a sit down, and dead, protest outside Downing Street. With a group of demonstrators lying down as dead, with many stopping to sit and join them. The protest ended with members of the last groups of activists being arrested.
